The Likud's election committee will hold a hearing on Monday for a number of people from the "New Likudniks" faction who are competing in the party's primaries to stop their membership in the Likud.
Lior Meiri, the founder of the New Likudnik forum, said, "The summons to the hearing indicates that they are afraid and are trying to fight a political group through administrative, McCarthyist and illegal means. The Likud court has already ordered to return us all to the movement and they ignored it and scorned it." He said if the committee rules against the New Likudniks, they will appeal to all available avenues.
