Member of Knesset Yoav Kisch (Likud) claimed on Sunday that contrary to the statements made by former military ombudsman Yitzhak Brick, the Israel Defense Forces are prepared for war.

Interviewed by Arutz Sheva, Kisch explained, "I am an active member of the subcommittees of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committees. I sat with the outgoing chief of staff at many long meetings, and I think that contrary to what we heard from General Brick, the IDF today is well prepared for the next battle, and of course there is still more to fix, but there is no doubt that Chief of Staff Eizenkot has a very significant contribution to the IDF's strength and to the construction of the five-year plan, and I wish him good luck and congratulate him on his work throughout the years for the security of Israel."
