El Al improved its relative ability to meet the timetables in the past year, according to FlightStats, which compares the accuracy of airlines and airports, based on data from millions of flights each year.
Israel's national company was ranked 32nd of all international airlines in its accuracy - a three-point climb from where it was last year. 70.15% of El Al flights took off and landed on time. Of course, this also means that almost 30% of them were late, based on being at least 15 minutes later than planned. Ben-Gurion Airport ranked 307th out of the 400 airports examined.
