The London-based Arabic-language newspaper Ash-Sharq al-Awsat has reported from Palestinian Authority sources that PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas is planning to take tough measures against Hamas in Gaza in order to weaken their rule or bring them to hand over control of the southern Mediterranean coastal area.
The sources said "The game is over, Abu Mazen has decided to move to the stage of all or nothing."
