Director-General Udi Adam of the Defense Ministry and the ministry's management held a farewell meeting Sunday morning with Israel Defense Forces Chief of Staff Gadi Eizenkot, who will finish his term in another week.

The retired general told the outgoing chief of staff, "The defense establishment has faced exceptional challenges, operational as well as in procurement and staffing, in the last four years." He concluded, "The IDF of 2019 is stronger today than ever before, and the development and procurement processes that we led together during your term as chief of staff will strengthen Israel's military and technological superiority in the coming years. "
