Former chief of staff Gabi Ashkenazi of the Israel Defense Forces prefers to join the Likud Party if he decides to run in the upcoming elections, according to Yisrael Hayom
Ashkenazi revealed this during closed meetings with associates and other political figures. He said in response that he had not yet decided to join politics.
