Israel's population is estimated at 8,972,000, of which 6.6 million are Jews, 1.9 are Arabs and 426,000 are "other" Israelis., according to the Central Bureau of Statistics.
The population of Israel grew by 2% in 2018. 81% of the increase was due to natural increase and 19% to the international migration balance.
