More than 78% of the Jews in Israel say January 1st is a perfectly normal day for them, according to a new survey by Shmuel Rosner of the Jewish People Policy Institute and Professor Camille Fuchs.

A considerable majority of Jews in the State of Israel do not even mark the New Year and are not prepared to accept 2019. Only 6% say that this is the "real" Rosh Hashana, as they define it.
