Public Safety Minister Gilad Erdan said, Thursday that he will nominate a new police commissioner within a short period of time, in accordance with the legal possibilities following the early scheduling of elections.
Interviewed by Israel Defense Forces Radio, Erdan said, "The final decision regarding the candidates for the commissionership - as legally possible - will be given in the next two weeks."
