Retired general Yom Tov Samia has announced that he intends to run in the elections for the 21st Knesset as head of the Beyachad (Together) party.
Samia headed the Israel Defense Forces Southern Command. Since his retirement from the military, he has been involved in security, cyber and energy fields, among others, and has written on security matters.
