The Knesset Land of Israel Lobby will hold a conference on Monday in support of the Jewish residents of Hevron in response to a conference to be held the next day by the Meretz Party calling for the expulsion of Jews from Hevron.

Former Member of Knesset Orit Struck, a resident of Hevron and coordinator of lobbying activities in the Knesset, told Arutz 7, "Meretz apparently smells elections and wants to show their constituents that they are doing something, but we will prove tomorrow at a conference attended by Knesset members, ministers and party leaders that we receive great support and the Jewish people identifies with the Jewish community in Hebron, which is still small, but those who are here are on the people's mission."
