Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday that he agrees with United States President Donald Trump that the Islamic State terror movement has been defeated in Syria.
Responding, during his annual end-of-the-year news conference, to Trump's decision to remove US troops from Syria, Putin said, “I do generally agree with the president of the US, we achieved some major advances when it comes to defeating terrorists and struck major blows against groups in Syria.”
