The parole board has agreed to Etty Alon's request to cancel her house arrest.
Until now Alon has had to be in her house between midnight and six in the morning. Alon was released from prison after serving 14.5 years of a 17-year sentence on a conviction for embezzling about a quarter of a billion shekels from Bank Hamischar (the Trade Bank).
