Mako reported that according to a poll conducted by Dr. Khalil Shikaki, head of the Ramallah based Palestinian Center for Survey and Policy Studies (PSR) if Palestinian Authority elections were held today, Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh would win 49% of the votes for the position of PA chairman, compared with only 42% for Abu Mazen.
In addition, while Hamas would receive 34% of the vote, Fatah would receive 35% in the Legislative elections.
