(JTA) Police in the southern Polish city of Czestochowa are investigating the spraying of anti-Semitic graffiti on the walls of a Jewish cemetery.

Among the graffiti were “Jews to the Sand” and “Zyklon B", referring to the gas used to kill Jews in Nazi death camps, which was written on the cemetery gate. A sign with information about the cemetery was pulled down. It is not the first time this year that city employees have had to paint over anti-Semitic graffiti at the cemetery. No safeguards have yet been put into place to prevent another occurrence.
