The Ministry of Economy announced on Sunday afternoon that according to the outline being formed with the bakeries, there will be no change in the price of the three most basic breads under government control: standard brown bread and white bread weighing 750 grams and 500-gram sliced white bread.

The price of 500-gram challah or pastry and 750-gram packaged sliced dark bread will rise by about 3.85%, which is about 19 agorot for challah and about 26 agorot for a uniform dark bread and spread. The agreement between the ministry and the bakeries requires the approval of the Prices Committee and judicial entities.
