Member of Knesset Oded Forer (Yisrael Beytenu), said on Thursday afternoon, "The heavy rain falling on the Land of Israel during these hours will not wash away the shame of paying protection money to Hamas."
Writing on Twitter in response to the imminent transfer of cash from Qatar to Hamas in Gaza, Forer added, "All government ministers, who share a common responsibility for this disgrace, are sticking tightly to their chairs and prefer to betray everything they believe in and allow money to be transferred to a terrorist organization."
