Social Equality Minister Gila Gamliel and the Director General Eva Madjiboj of the Authority for the Advancement of the Status of Women have asked Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Internal Security Minister Gil'ad Erdan to appoint a woman to the post of police commissioner.
The two women said, "The appointment of a woman to the post of commissioner must be seriously examined in order to make history and justice."
