Jason Greenblatt, Special United States Representative for International Negotiations, wrote on Twitter, Wednesday evening in favor of a resolution, scheduled for a vote, Thursday at the United Nations, that would condemn Hamas. He said, "Rational, reasonable people can discuss how best to help the Palestinians in Gaza. But first & foremost, we must recognize they are subjugated by Hamas. Hamas is the root cause of their suffering."
Greenblatt continued, "If countries truly want to help Gaza, & start down the path to peace, they should vote in favor of the condemnation of Hamas, without any obstruction. Anything else does not help Gaza & absolutely hurts peace."
