Opposition leader MK Tzipi Livni (Zionist Union) criticized the government's conduct during the attempt to appoint Moshe Edri as police commissioner.
"Instead of admitting the mistake, the government ministers personally, shamefully and unjustly attack Justice Goldberg, and it is more important for them to destroy the institutions, to cancel the committee, and to go wild without restriction than to take care of the public interest and clean up the law enforcement systems."
