Spokesperson Ronen Manelis of the Israel Defense Forces said, Tuesday morning, that Operation Northern Shield to destroy Hezbollah terror tunnels on the Lebanese border "will expand along the Blue Line to remove the tunnel threat."
The brigadier general told Israeli public radio, "There are more tunnels, and in the next few hours we will publish other things that have been discovered. We kept secrecy about the operation and did not update the residents because there was no immediate threat."
