A 90-year-old man has choked to death on a sufganiya jelly donut during a Hanukkah event in a Shefelah lowlands community.
Magen David Adom medics and paramedics pulled a piece of dough from his windpipe with the help of special medical equipment but despite advanced and prolonged resusciation efforts, were forced to pronounce him dead.
