The Tzohar Rabbinical Organization and its subsidiary, Tzohar Food Inspection, have certified the La Playa Beach Resort in Taba, on Egypt's Sinai Peninsula.
During Hanukkah, the organization's kashrut supervisor will be stationed at the hotel and give it mehadrin kashrut. The organization said that in recent months, additional requests have been made from hotels from various parts of Europe and Africa, and it is possible that this summer the organization will provide kosher certificates to other hotels abroad.
