Member of Knesset Yosef Jabareen (Joint List) has asked Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit to order the invalidation of the declaration of loyalty for the members of the Afula city council, who vowed last week to "preserve the Jewish character of the city."
Jabareen said, "This is a racist, inciting ceremony that severely hurts the Arab residents of Afula and the Arab public in general."
