House Democrats vote in favor of nominating Pelosi as Speaker

House Democrats on Wednesday voted overwhelmingly by a majority of 203 to 32 to nominate Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) to the Speakership.

Pelosi faces a tougher test on the first week of January, however, when the full House meets to choose the Speaker in a public vote requiring a majority of the entire voting chamber, noted The Hill.
