US special envoy to the Middle East, Jason Greenblatt, referred to the Iranian president's statement that Israel is a 'cancerous tumor' that must be removed.
"Rouhani continues to spread the hated and destructive ideology of the Iranian regime instead of improving the lives of the Iranians," Greenblatt wrote in his Twitter account.
