The Military Advocate General's Office will appeal the decision to find a terrorist guilty of manslaughter instead of murder in the death of Eliav Gelman two years ago at the Gush Etzion Junction.

Terrorist Mamduh Amru allegedly raised the suspicion of soldiers at the junction adfbegan to run toward the hitchhiking station, waving a knife. Gelman drew his pistol and charged at the terrorist, but unfortunately was hit by stray bullets fired at the terrorist, which caused his death. The court ruled that the terrorist was responsible for Gelman's death, since the shooting was caused by his actions.
