According to data from Shaba Automatic Banking Services, which operates the national credit card payments system, there were 14.73 million "Black Friday" credit-card sales between Wednesday and Friday last week, totalling 3.19 billion shekels, an average of almost NIS 350 per purchase.
That's an 8.2-percent increase in the value of the purchases and a 9-percent increase in the number of credit card transactions compared with 2017.
