Member of Knesset Itzik Shmuli (Zionist Union) has responded to the government's request for further postponement from the Supreme Court regarding the draft law by saying, "The current outline of the draft law is a bad joke, which even [Prime Minister Binyamin] Netanyahu cannot pass in front of his haredi partners, who are demanding a complete declaration of surrender at the expense of those who serve."
Shmuli added, "The decent Knesset members who remain in the Likud and Kulanu have to stop this liquidation sale of the model of the army of the people and the soldiers."
