Iran is increasing its missile arsenal in Syria near the border with Israel to serve as a "first line" against the United States and Israel, according to the Israel Public Broadcasting Corporation.
A former Iranian ambassador to Syria told French newspaper Le Monde that "the missile factories that his country helped Syria develop in the early 2000s are still active."
