The committee of heads of colleges officially announced that classes will resume on Thursday morning at the seven public academic colleges where senior faculty members have been on strike for five weeks.
"The end of the strike was made possible by the agreements reached tonight with the assistance of the president of the Jerusalem Regional Labor Court, after the strike was discussed in four different Labor Courts in recent days, all of which accepted the position that local disputes should be resolved in negotiations between each college's administration and its staff," the committee said in a statement.
