A law banning unvaccinated children from entering school passed its preliminary reading. The law states that if a disease breaks out, all educational institutions will be obliged not to allow entry to a person who is not immunized.
"This law is important especially today when there is an outbreak of measles all over the country," said MK Merav Ben-Ari (Kulani), who sponsored the bill.
