US President Donald Trump on Tuesday submitted written answers to questions from Special Counsel Robert Mueller, who is probing Russian meddling in the 2016 election.
Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani said in a statement that “much of what has been asked raised serious constitutional issues and was beyond the scope of a legitimate inquiry,” but added that the president provided “unprecedented cooperation”.
