US Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) said on Tuesday there is strong bipartisan support in Congress for serious sanctions against Saudi Arabia, “including appropriate members of the royal family”, Reuters reported.
Graham’s statement came amid pressure on the US to take action over the murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, which some have said was directly ordered by the Saudi Crown Prince.
