The Tel Aviv Cinematheque will host events produced by leftist Arab-rights groups MachsomWatch and B'Tselem to mark International Human Rights Day, the 70th anniversary of the United Nations Declaration on Human Rights, which was signed at the UN General Assembly on December 10, 1948.

During the MachsomWatch event, testimonies of imprisoned terrorists ("security prisoners") will be read by actors Sara Vino-Elad and Gavri Banai, followed by the play "The Last Arab". The B'Tselem event will focus on the humanitarian situation in Gaza through video clips and a video call with a B'Tselem fieldworker in the Hamas-ruled area.
