A gala evening was held on Sunday night to honor the Israel Defense Forces' "Good Neighbor" administration, which closed after two years of extensive humanitarian activity which affected tens of thousands of Syrian civilians.
The administration provided humanitarian and medical aid to Syrian citizens as a show of goodwill and because of the sanctity of human life, and was part of far-reaching humanitarian aid efforts undertaken by the IDF in the past five years.
