Kuwait announced on Wednesday a contribution of an additional $42,100,000 to UNRWA, the UN agency for “Palestinian refugees”, reported the Palestinian Authority-based Ma’an news agency.
UNRWA has complained of a financial crisis since the United States, the largest single contributor to the organization, announced in August that it would end its $350 million a year funding for the agency.
