Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman on Wednesday wrote a farewell statement from the Defense Ministry.
"I have the privilege and the honor to be your defense minister, and I support the residents of the south, who for a long time showed personal and civic courage ... You are the true pioneers of our day, my heart and my hopes are for the families of the POWs and MIAs. That we will be able to realize the verse 'And the sons returned to their borders,' "Liberman wrote in his Twitter account.
