Report: Foreign official denies Israel is not working for ceasefire

A foreign diplomatic source cited by Haaretz had denied that Israeli contacts with the United Nations and Egypt on a Gaza cease-fire have stopped, despite an Israeli official's claim that Israel is currently not working with either body to defuse tensions.
