The Central District Attorney's Office filed an indictment with the Jerusalem District Court yesterday against Ahmed Sarsur, 20, of Kfar Qassem, for trafficking offenses, manufacturing and importing knives, contact with a foreign agent, illegal exit attempts, financing of terror and obstruction of justice.
According to the indictment, during the years 2017-2018, until his arrest, the defendant was in contact with activists and supporters of various terrorist and jihad organizations. Among other things, the Defendant spoke about the activities of the terrorist organizations and the Jihad in Syria, about his desire to reach Syria and join the jihadist war, as well as explosives and weapons.
