Israel Railways has announced that, as per the directive of the security forces, the western railway line between Ashkelon and Be'er Sheva will remain closed for the time being.
Stations in Sderot, Netivot and Ofakim will be closed as well. The traffic north of this point will end at the Ashkelon station. Traffic from Be'er Sheva through Lod will take place as usual.
