Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein responded to the hanging of the pig's head at the entrance to the synagogue in Ramat Hasharon.
"This is a serious and outrageous hate crime. I call on the police to immediately investigate who is behind the incident, and I very much hope that the perpetrators have nothing to do with the local election campaign," said Edelstein. "We must not forget that even after the elections, we will continue to live together - religious and secular, Arab and Jewish - and the incitement will not change that."
