The Israel Democracy Institute (IDI) responded on Tuesday evening to Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked's letter to Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit against Deputy Attorney General Dina Zilber.
"This is an inappropriate response by Minister Shaked, whose clear goal is to silence the professional elements in the civil service," the institute said.
"The demand for Zilber's dismissal does not correspond with the reality that in professional committees, professionals in government offices note their opinion from time to time," it added.
