The Ministry of Finance has told the Supreme Court that the government-controlled price of dairy products should be raised by only 1.5 percent, if at all, according to the Israel Public Broadcasting Corporation.
Responding to the Chinese-owned Tnuva cooperative's petition to make the finance minister implement the price hike, ministry CEO Shai Babad wrote, "In October, the target price fell by four agorot. In January a further decline of 8-9.5 agorot is expected."
