Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić in Varna, Bulgaria.
The two discussed relations between the two countries. Prime Minister Sharon congratulated Serbia on its activities on the preservation of Jewish heritage. Netanyahu and Vucic expressed their common desire to expand cooperation in the economic sphere and to increase trade between the two countries, including the promotion of the East-Med gas pipeline project to export gas to Europe.
"It is a pleasure to see you again and talk to you about bilateral and regional issues and the world, and I express my appreciation for your friendship and the renovation of the synagogue you have carried out," Netanyahu told the president.
