US Special Envoy to the Middle East, Jason Greenblatt welcomed the strengthening of relations between Israel and Oman.
"In recent days we have seen our regional partners Oman, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates issuing declarations and gestures to signal warmer ties with Israel. A more stable area leads to a stronger and more prosperous region. It's good for everyone, "Greenblatt said.
"We welcome the comments of the Omani Foreign Minister, Yusuf bin Alawi, Bin Abdallah, who reported in Bahrain this week on Israel's location in the region and the relations between its neighbors. Another encouraging sign that is a step forward in creating a positive atmosphere for peace, "he added.
