Oman is interested in launching a new peace process between Israel and the Palestinian Authority, based on the American plan, according to the London-based pan-Arabic newspaper Ash-Sharq Al-Awsat.
Oman wants to play a role in resolving the disputes between the PA and the United States on the one hand and between PA and Israel on the other, and wants the United States to be the mediator.
