After the votes of the soldiers in the Lower Galilee Regional Council were counted, it emerged overnight Wednesday that Nitzan Peleg has been elected the new head of the council.
Peleg managed to surpass the 40% threshold by 0.08%. Asher Cohen, who won 25% of the votes, came in second.
