The Ministry of Defense refuses to negotiate with the residents of the illegal Bedouin community of Khan Al-Ahmar through attorney Tawfiq Jabarin regarding the demolition of their Maale Adumim-area outpost because of the fact that he was appointed by the Palestinian Authority, according to Israel Defense Forces Radio.
The ministry has made it clear to the residents that it would not negotiate with the PA over an area under Israeli control, but only with their representative or lawyer.
