Opposition leader Tzipi Livni congratulated Major General Aviv Kochav on his appointment to be the IDF Chief of Staff.
"Congratulations to Major General Aviv Kochavi. I am convinced that he knew how to lead the IDF responsibly and boldly against the complex security challenges under which the IDF will continue to maintain its strength and morals," tweeted Livni.
